So, I asked if people would be interested in me hosting a contest...and two people said maybe. I guess I'm impatient, because I'm not waiting for anyone else to respond. I decided to do one! Huzzah!

Da Rooz! (the rules)

Da rooz are quite simple.
1. You must create an entry that includes at least three of the following:

a musical instrument, a tall and lanky person, combat boots, purple eyeshadow, unconventional hair, a creature that does not currently exist, a bonzai tree, a faun (the mythical kind, not a baby deer), an unexpected change, a bounty hunter, a zombie, a failed super hero, best friends, manipulation, a chameleon, a re-design of a character that is well known to the general public, a penguin, facial hair, a household pet, an awesome hat, pajamas, ugly (yet comfortable) shoes, a catch phrase, a person in clothing they would not normally be found in, beautiful eyes, a motorcycle, an under-appreciated occupation, steam or smoke, a secret obsession, welding goggles

2. You may include more than three objects, but they all have to have a reason for being in the entry. I don't want to see a blank page with three objects lined up in a boring manner (unless there is a point to it).

3. You may enter any medium you like: drawing, comic, animation, video, photo, sculpture, 3-D work, *insert anything I missed*. The winners will not be judged based on medium.

4. Keep it clean, peoples! Absolutely no exposing of anything that is meant to be covered by underwear. If you have text, please keep swearing and crude comments to a minimum (non-existent would be better).

5. Please have fun with it! And be creative!

Da Time Frame

It is 12:52 AM Pacific Standard Time on February 11. I will keep the contest going until March 1 (I'll be a bit lenient on this because of the different time zones, but this is the basic date/time). When I announce the winners will be based on how many people enter. The only reason I'm letting the contest go so long is because A) I know not many people watch me, and I'd like to give a bit of time for more people to find out about it, and B) I know everyone is busy with that little thing called "life," and I'd like to see everyone do their best.

Da Prizes

From what I can tell, the traditional prizes offered in deviantart contests are art pieces created by the contest host. THEREFORE!

First prize winner will receive either a colored drawing (digital or traditional) OR a short comic (five pages or less) of the winner's choosing.

Second place will get either a black and white drawing OR a one page comic of the artist's choosing.
